Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Amoterra Wellness website and mobile app and the booking of appointments at our studios in Townsend and Crandon, Wisconsin. By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using Amoterra, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and book on your own behalf. A parent or legal guardian may arrange and consent to services for a minor.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity that occurs under your account.

Amoterra lets you request and reserve appointments with our therapists subject to availability. A confirmed reservation holds your time slot; it does not require payment in advance.

We may need to reschedule or cancel a session due to therapist illness, emergencies, or other circumstances. If that happens, we will notify you and help you rebook.

Payment for services is collected at the clinic at the time of your visit unless otherwise arranged. Prices shown in the app are estimates for the selected service and may vary based on add-ons, applicable taxes, and services actually rendered.

Because a missed appointment is a slot we usually cannot fill, we enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy. You may cancel or reschedule at no charge up to 24 hours before your appointment.

If you do not show up, or you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be billed the full amount of the missed session and will be blocked from booking at our locations until that balance is paid.

You acknowledge and accept this policy when you confirm a booking.

Massage and bodywork provided through Amoterra are for relaxation and general wellness. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or care, and nothing in the app is medical advice.

You agree to disclose relevant health conditions on your intake form and to inform your therapist of any discomfort during a session. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have concerns, consult your physician before booking. Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed.

You agree to use Amoterra lawfully and respectfully, not to interfere with or disrupt the service, not to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, and to treat our therapists and staff with courtesy. Any conduct that is abusive, threatening, or inappropriate may result in refusal of service and termination of your account.

The Amoterra name, logo, app, website, and their content are owned by Amoterra Wellness and protected by law. You may use the service for your personal, non-commercial booking and account needs only, and you may not copy, modify, or redistribute it without our permission.

We rely on trusted third parties for functions such as email, SMS reminders, and payment processing. Your use of those functions may also be subject to the providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amoterra Wellness and its owners, staff, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the session giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using Amoterra at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account or access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or have an unpaid missed-appointment balance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
